How to Find Us

Directions by car:

Come off the M9 at junction 11. The fourth turning off from the south and the second turning off from from the north leads to Bridge of Allan and is signposted (2 miles). After the short stretch of dual carriageway as you enter Bridge of Allan there is a row of flats on the left, and a Clydesdale bank at the far end. Immediately after the bank is a turning on the left (Well Road). Take this turning and bear right immediately to stay on Well Road to the top of the hill. It twists and turns a bit. At the top of the hill you will pass a large building on your left, which used to be a hotel and is now flats, then a restaurant with a large grassy area in front. Immediately after the restaurant you cross Mine Road, and you are then in Chalton Road. Lorraine B&B is the third building on the right, immediately after a bungalow. It is a side entrance. There are double wooden gates and pink chips on the drive. There is a No. 10 on both gateposts. Keying in Lorraine's postcode (FK9 4DX) at one of the map sites, such as multimap or googlemaps will show a map of where we are.

Directions by train:

There is an unmanned railway station in Bridge of Allan. It is a 20 minute walk from Lorraine B and B. Not all trains stop there – the fast ones go straight through. However, all trains stop at Stirling which is one stop from Bridge of Allan. If you alight in Stirling the easiest way to find us is to use a taxi. There is a taxi rank outside Stirling station and the journey is about 3 miles. Alternatively the bus station is a short walk from the station. Turn left as you leave the station. It is on the same side of the road and can be seen almost immediately.
